International Student Financial Aid Application FAQ
These frequently asked questions are meant to help you while moving through the financial aid application process for Mount Holyoke.
We welcome questions from prospective students and their families, so feel free to email Student Financial Services if you do not find answers on this page or elsewhere on our website.
Log in to our admission website using the credentials sent to you via email from the Office of Admission.
It typically takes 2-4 business days from the time you submit your Common Application or Coalition Application for admission, indicating your intent to apply for financial aid, for the Financial Aid Checklist to be added to your portal. If it has been more than 4 business days and your Checklist is not present, please contact sfs@mtholyoke.edu.
You may upload your financial aid application materials as soon as your Financial Aid Checklist appears in your portal. This typically takes 2-4 business days from the time you submit your Common Application or Coalition Application.
To upload your financial aid documents, log in to your Applicant Portal. From the home page, scroll down to your Financial Aid Checklist and click on the document link(s) to upload.
The portal can accept only one file per document. If you have multiple pages/documents to submit, please combine them into one image file before uploading.
If you have already uploaded a document and need to add additional pages, please contact sfs@mtholyoke.edu for assistance.
No, Mount Holyoke does not use IDOC to collect application materials from international applicants. Please upload your documents to your Applicant Portal.
No, Mount Holyoke does not accept the ISFAA as an alternative financial aid application form. Please submit the CSS Profile.
All financial aid application materials must be submitted in English. When the original documents are not in English, professional translations are preferred but self-translations will be accepted, with copies of the original documents attached.
Financial figures should be listed in the home currency. If conversion to U.S. Dollars is necessary, please ensure that the currency conversion rate used is listed.
