What clients may notice about my therapeutic style:
I use a strengths-based approach that is informed by brief psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness meditation to help manage emotional distress or increase focus and attentiveness. I particularly enjoy working with transracial adoptees and students with other marginalized identities. I feel deeply honored to bear witness to the growth and positive changes that students can achieve in their lives through therapy.
