Julie Yurgielewicz

Julie Yurgielewicz began her career in small, locally owned businesses in Northampton before joining the retirement services staff as executive assistant at MassMutual in 2004. Yurgielewicz made the jump from corporate life to higher education in 2017 when she joined the advancement office at Amherst College, supporting the executive director of leadership giving. Yurgielewicz arrived at Mount Holyoke in early 2019 and served as executive assistant in the Office of the President before joining the Alumnae Association in August 2022.

Yurgielewicz serves a number of roles at the Alumnae Association, including customer service for staff and alums, office management, event planning and support of the Alumnae Association Board of Directors as well as several of its committees. Additionally, she provides primary administrative support to Executive Director Trisha Tanner ’00 and brings a wealth of experience, creativity and a keen interest in Lean Six Sigma practice to the Alumnae Association team.
