Adrianne Greenbaum selected as flutist in “Soul Songs: Women of Klezmer”
The Mount Holyoke flutist — one of 11 women musicians chosen from around the country — performed in “Soul Songs: Women of Klezmer.”
Adrianne Greenbaum, professor of music, was selected to be the flutist in “Soul Songs: Women of Klezmer,” a music and theater project that premiered in the Annenberg Theater in Philadelphia to a sold-out audience of 950. She was one of 11 women musicians in North America chosen for the production. The project was supported by the Pew Foundation and the Philadelphia Folklore Society.
