A legacy of opportunity
I was drawn to how many resources and programs Mount Holyoke offers to help students thrive.
“I was drawn to how many resources and programs Mount Holyoke offers to help students thrive, like the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives and the Weissman Center for Leadership. Both have been so integral to my time here.”
“And of course there’s the alum network — which even included my vice principal in Ghana! She told me how committed alums are to the College and how devoted they are to helping students, and I’ve experienced that since coming here. Once, I was invited to dinner with the Alum Association. We heard from generations of alums about how the College has evolved. It was so nice to see how different and yet similar we are. Mount Holyoke has changed, but the essence of our experiences remains the same.”

Living-learning community: I’m a member of the Shirley Chisholm Living-Learning Community, which is for Black-identifying students. I love it — I’ve made some of my closest friends there.
Career aspirations: After Mount Holyoke, I want to gain work experience in the think tank space before going to law school. I hope to pursue international law and economic development someday.
