Staff awards exemplify “Cheers for Peers”
Employees of Mount Holyoke College celebrated each other during the annual staff award event.
On May 3, employees of Mount Holyoke College gathered in Chapin Auditorium to celebrate each other during the annual staff award event.
This year the theme was “Cheers for Peers.” The event honored 78 employees with milestone anniversaries as well as those who were nominated by their colleagues for Mary Lyon Leadership awards and Trailblazer awards.
“The recognition of the hard work and dedication of our staff says so much about who we are as individuals, as an institution and, more importantly, as a community,” said Penny Davis, associate vice president for human resources at Mount Holyoke College. “The way we support one another is reflective of such a dynamic workplace culture. So many of you took the time to write thoughtful nominations for your colleagues, and it confirms that every employee’s contributions matter and the work you do is appreciated.”
