Recommend an Alum
The Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College recognizes the unique accomplishments of alums through several distinguished awards. Your recommendations are critical in identifying potential award candidates. Our award committees take tremendous care and conduct extensive research in selecting award recipients through an objective vetting process, with awards given at the discretion of the Alumnae Association Board of Directors.
The Mary Lyon Award is bestowed at the College’s Celebration of Excellence ceremony each spring. Honorary Degrees are conferred at the College’s Commencement ceremony each May. All other awards are presented at Reunion during an alum’s reunion year. Recipients may also request that their award be given at a club event, conference, or via mail if they are unable to attend Reunion.
Please fill out a separate form for each nomination. It is not necessary to be affiliated with Mount Holyoke College to nominate an alum. Alums are welcome to nominate themselves.
Due to the confidentiality of the awards research process, we do not give award status updates nor do recommenders receive advanced notification regarding award decisions.
