The Title IX Coordinator, supported by the Title IX Team, oversees implementation of Mount Holyoke College’s compliance with Title IX. The Title IX Coordinator has the primary responsibility for coordinating the College’s efforts related to the intake, investigation, resolution and implementation of supportive measures to stop, remediate and prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation prohibited under this policy.
In response to 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10) of the 2020 Title IX Regulations, Mount Holyoke College is mandated to publicly share the training materials used to educate the Title IX team members. The College works with the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) to provide ongoing education, support and training. Please view training sessions provided by ATIXA.
The College also provides extensive training to decision makers and Officers with Authority (OWA) who are designated as Grievance Process Pool Members. Please see a list of our Title IX Team, Bias Education Support Team (BEST members) along with Senior Leaders designated as Officers with Authority (OWA) with information on the training they have attended and the certifications they have completed.
The Title IX team handles complaints or notice of alleged Title IX policy violations and can also aid complainants in reporting to law enforcement.
